Fantastic Faces of the World Cup

Room Eight have been making masks and we have painted them the flags of countries playing in the Rugby World Cup. We had to do lots of layers of paper mache so our masks are really strong. When they were dry, we used sandpaper to smooth them down. This week we have been busy painting them with our adopted country of the World Cup. Some of the flags have been really tricky! Especially the ones with lots of little details like USA, Wales and Fiji. We will add some more photos of them once they are all finished.

Fantastic Masks!!! You are doing a good job of them. I can't wait to see them all finished. Do you think we could display a couple on our Vision Wall?

We made rugby players out of MDF board, but masks sound really great. That was a good hint about the sandpaper.
We will check to see the other masks.
